Description:This resource contains heat flow observation data collected by Charles R.Shearer c.1979. The heat flow observation data were extracted from Shearer's Thesis for PhD, New Mexico Institute of Mining and Technology: A Regional Terrestrial Heat-Flow Study in Arizona. The data are available in the following formats: ESRI Service Endpoint, WFS, WMS, and an Excel workbook for download. The workbook contains information about the template, notes related to revisions of the template, resource provider information, the data, a field list (data mapping view), and vocabularies (data valid terms). The data worksheet feature headers include ObservationName, IntervalDepth, Gradient, UncorrectedHeatFlow, Units, and Source. The dataset is spatially referenced to EPSG: 4326 (for interoperability). This resource was provided by the Arizona Geological Survey and made available for distribution through the National Geothermal Data System.
