Description:The US Dept. of Energy Geothermal Division sponsored the Low-Temperature Geothermal Resources and Technology Transfer Program to bring the inventory of the nations low- and moderate-temperature geothermal resources up to date and to encourage development of the resources. The program compiled database of thermal springs and wells that are in the temperature range of 20-150 C for each state and provided a co-location study for each of the communities located within 8 kilometers of known resources having a temperature above 50 C. This report provides the geothermal data for California only. This resource was provided by the Arizona Geological Survey and made available for distribution through the National Geothermal Data System.
